Problem Programming Minitor V

Post by theshadowman »

I have been programming MInitor III's and IV's for some time now using a home built programming station identical to the one listed here:
http://radioetcetera.googlepages.com/minitorprogrammer

This has worked with no issue. However, when I try to program a Minitor V, it fails. I cannot communicate with the V. The pinout I am using for the V is shown here:

Obviously I have two different stations for the IV and V but the circuit is the same. I just switch cradles. I have verified continuity in the cradles. Is there something else I need to do; am I missing something? I am currently using software V1.4.0

Yes, the pager is definitely in programming mode (channel C, long beep...) and all connections seem fine, yet I agree that must be the issue. I just cannot seem to locate the problem. The pinout I provided is correct?
