Minitor V and Amp charger

Post by jban »

We recently purchased the 2 channel Minitor V with the amp charger. Problem: Pager is in charger. Alert is recieved. Sometimes, voice will not come over amp charger (pagers work fine out of charger). Also, once page is complete the amp squelch tails intermit. for about 2 minutes.

All pagers are experiencing this problem. We do have the pagers set to alert in silent scan mode.

Any suggestions or do I need to contact factory about their NEW product!

We had the same problem in the amp chargers on squelching. Solution was adjust the squelch up a bit. For some reason even in monitor they would make noise. Adjusted it up 2 and everything fine. As for the no audio, the only problem we found was units not snapped all the way in the charger.

Was talking to a /\/\ rep the other day while on another issue. He looked up and found that there was a recall on the version "A" & "B" series M5 amp chargers. They sent us 50 brand new version "C" units at no cost. This recall expires end of December 2007.
