Radius GM1200 & MCS-2000 What is Different?

Post by Leadenwah »

There is a Radius GM 1200 radio which seems exactly
like the MCS-2000 radio.

What, if any, are the important differences in these
two radios ?

One is made for a european market, and the other one the US market (mcs2000). The EURO versions may have different signaling options - such as select V, etc.

The difference is only the firmware!
The GM1200 is a MPT1327 trunked radio.

Thanks folks.

Will the GM1200 require different RSS or CPS than US models ?
