Any news from Roadshow 2007 yet?
Did not make it this year to Motorola Roadshow.
I heard of a PM1200 lowband mobile similar to PM1500 coming out next year. Also some new lower end portables ( CP110 aka XTN series) and a GPS addon device for CDM1250/1550 series that is subscription annually based.
Anyone else on here have any other news?
Thanks in advance
Wayne

CP110 has been around at least since the dealer convention. It's a small little toy, about the size of a BPR40.

No PM1200 but yes to a 100 watt CDM low band, maybe even by the end of the year

According to the Roadshow here in Toronto today, the low-band PM1200 is a reality. Up to 120 watts. They didn't mention a 100 watt CDM radio.

The No to the PM and yes to the CDM came right from the senior engineers at M during APCO

So the marketing and engineering departments have no idea what each other is saying.

Anyone have a picture of a "CP110"? Or is it built into the familiar XTN shell...

Likely they decided against a new CDM model name and opted out to call it a PM1200.I know a MaraTrac lowband replacement was a handraiser since it scancellation during roadshow of past.Kenwood and Vertex dealers around here are always telling local FDs that Motorola is abandoning any lowband new products.I hope PM1200 has dual control head option similar to PM1500.Know if it will?

Well, the announcement during the roadshow was considered a big deal, with a lot of slides showing pics, features & a comparison chart against the Kenwood low-band offering. I'll bank on what's been released to the dealer community.radioinstl wrote:The No to the PM and yes to the CDM came right from the senior engineers at M during APCO
