I do not own a P110 but on other posts and the model specific info page on the site they say the P110 and GP300 are the same board in a different case and I do have the GP300. If that is true then the GP300 16 Position switch part number is 4080650D01. For the eustecheons on the P110 I only see a 2 and a 4 channel version with part numbers 1380582B01 and 1380582B02. I do not know if a GP300 16 channel eustecheon with part number 1380507B04 will work on that case.

Others will know more about this I'm sure as to what you can and cannot do.

Hello :
Yes the P110 and GP300 are pretty much the same inside with the exception of the code plugs programming telling the radio its eigther a P110 or GP300.
I have noticed that on the inside of the radio that the extra button on the GP300 is many times not installed from the factory but you sure could add it.
I believe the posting was refering to just the escucheon 16ch label and not the ch selector switch.
But as additional info on the subject = All P110/GP300 portables have the 16ch switch in them even if they are a 2/4/6/8 chanel radio.
The channel knob limits the positions it can do.
On the Knob you can cut the inside out to allow full travel or beeter and easier yet snip the limit post off of the radio under the ch knob.
Im not sure the P110 was even made in the 16ch version but others have claimed to have seen them.
I have seen the P110 that was hex edited to a GP300 with 16ch capability in a P110 chassis but the original P110 escucheon was left on the radio with a GP300 16ch escucheon placed over the top of the P110 original eschuten.
This made the 16ch label appear to fit exactly since the P110 label if memory serves me rightis just a tad longer front to back.
Believe i remember the GP300 eschuten fit perfectly on the rear and two sides but left a 1/8 inch gap un covered at the front or maybe a bit more.
That was the reason the other P110 escucheon was left in place and the GP300 escutcheon was put on top of it.
I do have new 16ch GP300 escucheon labels and used but good knobs for the P110 if interested PM me.

Thanks guys, never saw a 16 ch. P110 but a few months prior to the cancellation of the P110 I did see them in an export dealers catalog as P43QLC20C2AA and P44QLC20C2AA so it looks like they existed at least as Latin American market, not sure if they were sold in the US.
The part # I have listed above is in sequence with the 2,4 ch. knobs and was hoping someone might know if this is it. Trying to avoid calling parts ID as the last couple times it didn't go too well (used to get very talented people on the other end of the line but not lately).

just get yourself a gp300 housing and put the radio in it. it will fit perfectly and give you the 16ch option for the knobs, you can use the gp300 batteries on it and it will give you the use of the 3rd button on the side of the radio.
