Low Band = 12.5 Narrow Band ????

Post by Satelite »

Hello:
Got a qestion.
I know the 12.5 narrow band ruling is for sure dealing with VHF and UHF as i understand it in the business band.
Does it also apply to the 29 to 36 and the 36 to 42 and 42 to 50 mhz lo band spectrum ?
Is it safe to assume this does not effect any of the Ham bands ?
Thank you.

The narrow band mandate affects Part 90 licensees operating between 150MHz and 512MHz.

Ham operations and VHF low band are not affected.

Hello:
Thank you for the confirmation on the lo band 29 to 50 mhz not being involved with the narrow band ruling.
I was thinking that was the case since i had not read anything on it being involved and wanted to know for sure.
Thank you.
