CDM1250 Help Needed asap Please

Post by BMedcom »

I have a CDM1250 UHF I am trying to program, and am trying to use an adapter that on one end looks like an RJ45, and the other end goes to my serial DB9 com port. I was told by a radio tech this would work, but what kind of cable do I need to plug into the part that looks like an rj45 that goes from there to the radio's mic port? I tried an ethernet cable, and had no luck. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am new to programing this radio. Thanks. Any help is appreciated.

Most Motorola radios require a special cable and Radio Interface Box.
You probably should read up on this before going further.
Try http://www.batlabs.com under Model Specific Information. The info
you need is toward the bottom of the CDM1250 page/section.
