Minitor V 2 channel 1 wide , 1 narrow

Post by rescuer »

Hello,

Experimenting with a neighboring department that is dispatched on a wideband frequency (F1), but who operate on a tactical frequency that is narrowband (F2). They want to be able to monitor both frequencies with the Minitor V pager. The only place we see to specify the frequency as wide or narrow is in the function switch page.

So, if you select Priority Scan F1, do you select the Wideband option or not to be able to monitor both frequencies?

It looks like the option for Wide or Narrow should have been where you enter the frequency, not where you select the switch assignment.

There has got to be another department having the same problem.

Thanks,

If nothing else, program it as wideband. You'll still hear the narrowband channel, but it will be softer. If you program it narrowband the wideband channel will probably clip on you and it may sound muffled and choppy.
