GM300&XP

Anyon ever successfully programmed a GM300 using windows XP and R05.00.00? I was able to read the radio without a problem but was leary of trying to program the radio. Did not want another paper weight becouse I have a few already :lol:

I'm surprised you were even able to read the radio within XP using the command prompt. I definitely wouldn't recommend writing to it. However, there is a DOS emulator program called DOSbox which myself & others have had great success with for programming radios within XP. Check out the thread below:
