ht50 CTCSS QUESTION

Post by mike m »

Is there any way to make the 2 channel HT50 take a TX CTCSS and RX Carrier Squelch or do I have to accept CTCSS on both TX/RX or no CTCSS at all on TX/RX ?

My screwy RSS will not let me do RX/CSQ and TX CTCSS, it only lets me program in a CTCSS tone if it is for the TX and the RX frequencies.

In the rx tone field type in the word BLANK. This will blank out the RX tone.

Blank huh ? not zero.

OK I was entering 0 (zero) and it kept resetting both tx and rx to zero.

I'll try entering 'BLANK' later tonight.

Thanks

I Got it working just fine.

I haven't used Moto DOS RSS in about 2 years and this along with missing help files made it hard to find my way around.

After reverting back to Motorola DOS RSS after a few years of only Astro windows, I really do appreciate the Astro windows software now.
