Help! Motorola LM100 Dispatch 800 Mhz Mobile

Post by gfrench »

I have received this radio and know nothing about it. It is in mint condition and was wondering if someone could direct me on getting this programed if possible.

I want it to receive only and to monitor some conventional freqs.

Thanks in advance of any insight you can give me on this unit.

This radio you have is a 3 watt IDEN radio, setup to operate on NEXTEL's network, or Solinc.
These were designed to operate on nextel's system as it existed in the early years of its existence, and its capabilities are fairly limited.

It's not capable of conventional/analog, unfortunately, so you arent going to be able to program it to recieve much.

Here's a link to its basic operation.

I received the radio for free so do not have anything invested in it.

Thanks Jason very much for your information.
