In need of pcu for programming

Could someone shed some light on the absolute perfect machine (could be on ebay or whatever for all I know) for the programming of my ht1000 w/ my software? Most interested in laptops/notebooks especially.

Which version/build date is your software? It should tell you both on the first screen you get when you start it.
