GM300 PROGRAMMING GOOF UP HELP

I HAVE 2 GM300 UHF RADIOS...LOANED THEM OUT ...THEY WERE 16 CHANNEL RADIOS...THEY WERE REPROGRAMMED USING MAXLAB SOFTWARE AND WERE TURNED INTO 32 CHANNEL RADIOS....NOW THERE IS NO DISPLAY NO RX NO TX.... THEY CHANNEL INFO SHOWS THE 32 FREQS PROGRAMMED..... CAN I GET THE RADIO BACK TO 16CH??? HELP I HAVE 2 BRICKS :>(

At a guess, try blanking and re-initializing it. The topic of how to do so has been covered on the board several times.

i'd make it reak simple and say the people that borrowed them just bought themselves some radios

They can be restored, using the information in this thread:

They will both require complete tuning as per the service manual.

GM300s can be made into maxtracs, did they change the firmware chip???
