DesXl keyloader question

Hi.

Got a couple of Des-xl loaders. 1 of them looses key easily when
on low batt. the other one holds keys fine on low batt.

Is there a backup battery? (if there is one, where is it, and wich
type is it?)

There is a battery inside, mine has a large flat watch style or computer. Seems to be soldered in, Just be carefull pulling the boards apart so you don't rip the flex to the keypad.
