HSN4032A Speaker Wiring

I bought a Motorola HSN4032A Mobile speaker on ebay to use with my FT-8800R, and it came with the cord cut. I need to wire this into a 3.5mm audio jack, but which speaker wire is positive and which is negative, or does it matter?
