Spectra A9 Mode 0

Post by PropellorHead »

I recently programmed a UHF Spectra A9, and I get a "mode 0" error on the display when powering up which prevents me from using the radio. Any idea what this means?

Thanx

Was this head and radio properly programmed by you in the past. Mode 0 on an A9 head usually means a programming mismatch between the head and the radio.

I am programming it for somebody else. The head already had the error code when given to me. Should I try and put a clean codeplug into the radio?

What is the model # of the control head and what control head type does it show in the programming?

READ the radio AND control head first, then change the freq's ect and write back into the radio.
