MTS2000: Power Up On Last Selected Zone and Channel

Whether It's possile to force MTS2000 power up on last selected channel?

This option exist in XTS2500 and named "Power Up On Last Selected Zone and Channel".

But I can't locate it in MTS200 CPS.

No way?

every MTS2000 I've ever used always powers up on the last zone/mode/channel it was used on before being turned off. Never seen an option specific to that in CPS. The home mode selection is however, which when pressing the "home" key always takes the user to a home zone/mode. A long press of the home key will set a specific channel/mode to "home".

Not a MTS, but anyway...


On our MTX9000s at work I have noticed that sometimes if I switch zones and then switch back to my primary zone, then if I turn the radio off and back on fairly soon afterwards that the radio is on the old zone again. It's easy to know as my primary use is a zone with our CH on position 10 while all other zones are only programmed with eight personalities.


You can guess what happens when the radio is turned up all the way on a quiet night

I have MTS2000 Model III. Toggle Switch is programmed as Zone Selector. Top 16-Position Rotary Knob programmed as Channel Selector.

If I have chosen working channel through the Menu (NOT via Toggle Switch and 16-Position Rotary Knob!) and turn radio off. Next time radio will power up on the channel according to Toggle Switch and 16-Position Rotary Knob position, NOT on last working channel.

I want that radio was power up on last working channel chosen through the Menu.
