MT-2000 and CPS?

MT-2000 and CPS?
Anyone know a way to hack a MT2000 to think it's a MTS2000 just enough so one could use CPS to program it? I know all the MTS features would be unavailable, but I'm only looking to do conventional. I just HATE using RSS.

About all you could do would be an MTS control board swap. You would essentially have an MTS2000 if ya did that.

yep, the CPS will read the MT2000 controller with a shoved in S-record, but it will fail to write to it and may hose it. That's been my personal experience. Been there, done that.
