MTC 3600
I have programmed a MSC2000 to do a system wide call for two different systems. It works fine on one system but on the other system I get a solid tone as soon as you key the transmitter. The code plug is for sure correct and the controllers on both sites should be set up correctly. The ID on the site that is not working has been set for SYSW, is there anything else that needs to be changed in the controller?
Re: MTC 3600
There is a procedure to enable systemwide call as a feature within the controller, but I'll have to check the manual at work on Monday. You have to set it as enabled in the default individual ID record.

Ok, list the default subscriber record while at the SAC prompt:
SAC> list I* (CR)
See if SYW is set for "N". If so, enable it:
SAC> edit I*:SYW=Y (CR)
It's set for "N" by default, and is re-sets back to "N" whenever power is removed from controller, unless you've done a DSAVE in the MTC3600, which is one of the nice features of that controller.
