MV21CV Charger question

Post by Flatshovel »

I have a question,
I have a Motorola Spirit MV21CV radio. I have one charger but need another. The original charger says 11vdc 55ma. Can you use a 12vdc 100mah transformer? Will it hurt the radio any or battery? On the charger it says 55mah this means it charges at 55mah correct? If I got one that charges at say 100mah it charges at 100mah or is the radio circuitry set to a specific value internally? Also what is the highest in VDC transformer I can use?

Just wondering if anyone knew?

Thanks,
Joey

Don't have a direct answer but it's inexpensive, part # HTN8232 with a 6.00 list price
