If you want to go the cheap cable route, yes, you will have everything you need.
You have the radio, RSS, cheap HongKong ribless cable and a computer that you can boot into DOS for the software.

I can vouch for the ribless cable from Wiscomm. I don't know where his cables are made. They may or may not be domestic production, but everyone I talked to said they were good quality and wouldn't hose my radio's. They were right. Excellent cable.

I noticed the one you showed has a box with 2 LED's connected to it. The one I got doesn't have the box but works nonetheless. Does that cable use a power source?

There are a couple of different styles of these. Yours doesn't have a box or LEDs, but it has the equivilent electronic components inline in the cable connestor.
Neither requires an external power supply.
