MTS2000 not programming with CPS

I have a MTS 2000 that i can read fine with CPS (R02.02.00) but cannot get it to program. In CPS it says that it is verifying that the radio will accept the codeplug and then the radio just restarts. No new info in the radio. Below is what I am working with:

Radio:
model - H01KDH9PW1BN
firmware - 5.30
last programmed with RSS in June of 07 (before i purchased radio)

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your time and help.

Basically, CPS doesn't work with pre-toolproof radios, give or take a minor firmware rev or so. Your 5.30 is too old, you'll need to use RSS.

I have to same version cps 02.02.00. I am trying to program a radio by reading one alike. I read the first one fine, but when I go to write to the other radio it stops me because the serial number is not the same. What am I doing wrong.

You need to use Clone, not Program.
