HT1250 Latest firmware

Can anyone tell me the current firmware version number from M? I have R03.01.03..Will that fix a EEPRM CS ERROR?

The current version is R05.13.14 [edited to correct typo]

Depending on the cause of the EEPRM CS ERROR, an upgrade may fix it, especially if it occurred after trying to write the radio with one of the more current CPS versions. However, the firmware may refuse to upgrade in that state. If you run into that problem, you can trick the upgrade kit by starting with a working radio (I try to keep a spare with older FW around for just such occasions). Once the FW upgrade kit checks the good radio, and instructs you to place the radio into bootstrap mode, switch radios, put the corrupted radio into bootstrap, and continue the upgrade.

Ok well this is what happened. I changed the Case from a limited keypad to a full keypad. Changed a couple of setting in the CPS. And wrote to it..I also add more DTMF CALL and wrote to it several times..Everything was working fine until last night when i left it on and the battery went dead. Put on a fully charged battery and turned it on and EEPRM CS ERROR SHOWED UP..I read the forum tried writing to it serveral times; I tried an old Codeplug and same thing.Here is what I'm using:

CPS 06.02.05
Aftermarket Rib and Cable(several years old never a problem)using a USB to serial cable CP-US-03
HT1250 AAH25SDF9AA5AN
Codeplug R03.01.03

Any help would be awesome..

i think that was a typing error, the current version is 5.13.04. alot of times you can fix a cs error by just keep trying to write an old saved codeplug into the radio and if it does take then it will come back to life. plus your firmware is ancient and you may want to get that upgraded anyway.

There is also an SRN or FSB relating to the brass nut for the accessory jack on the portable being exposed inside the case and causing the CS EEPROM ERROR.

OK I got my radio programmed and working. Thanks to everyone..Where can I get the current firmware to install into my radio?

The latest firmware can be obtained from your local Motorola authorized dealer/service center.
