Recommendation Wanted

Post by TomT »

I currently am using a Moto Spectra for my home base unit. however, it lacks a few things i need such as a busy or cor/cas signal on its accessories port.

Can someone maybe point me to instructions that a newbie can follow to correct this, or make a recommendation as to what other type of unit that would have all those good signals already.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Tom,

Which would you like on the Accy jack? You can have Busy/CAS OR RUS.

well,, i have noticed a lot of other accessories rely on that busy/cor/cas signal. so that i would settle for, In fact, I have a tone encoder that calls for a Busy/cor to check and make sure the freq is clear before sending the page tone.

i know,,, for home use on a gmrs system sounds like over kill. but monitor is required on gmrs. and i use it to keep up with everyone while learning more about the stuff.

Thanks for any info.

Regards
