I have a UHF Maratrac A7. It is programmed down to 447.200 tx but other than that it is a regular Maratrac. When it is cold out (<30F) it doesn't want to transmit well until it has been on for about 20 minutes or so. On the 70cm frequencies it won't tx at all, but the tx light comes on. On the 460's frequencies it sometimes transmits and brings up the repeater but the audio is chopped up. All the power wires (red, orange and green) are all hooked up to the same source. I have a VHF Maratrac in the same vehicle without any issues, although the VHF isn't programmed out of band.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Maratrac UHF won't TX when cold
Have you checked the alignment of the VCO coils? The TX VCO may not be locking, hence no TX.
