HT750 More Channels?
Can you take a 4 channel HT750 and make it to 16, was just curious because of my experience with the HT600 radios were you removed the stopper and the rotary would continue aruond.
Thanks for any help.

Re: HT750 More Channels?
It is possible, but would require a new switch, and hacking the radio into a 16ch. The software to do so is not legal, and hard to find. So in short buy a 16ch radio, it will be easier. By the time you buy a new switch, escutcheon, knob, find the software, figure out how to make it do what you want, retune the radio when you are done, it would have been easier to sell your radio and buy a 16ch.

I don't really know, on ebay it looks like used ht750 are going for 150-250 depending on vhf or uhf and channel number. I would say you should be able to get into a 16ch for less than 100 plus what you get for yours. Check the for sale, trade here to get some ideas also.

Re: HT750 More Channels?
why don't you look for a ht1250 so you won't have to go thru this again when you want more than 16ch? a ht1250 won't cost much more and all acessories and cps is the same.
