VISAR PAGING QC-II

I have been attempting to program a VISAR radio to use QC-II paging for my fire and ems department. I programmed channel 16 to be receive only and to have TPL/QC-II on receive squelch. The channel receives the tone for the fire paging and unmutes for dispatch audio, however it doesn't receive the tone for the EMS page. The Fire Dept. tones are as follows: Tone 1-- 584.8 and Tone 2-- 553.9. The EMS tones are as follows: Tone 1 -- 368.5 and Tone 2 -- 330.5. I have programmed the 584.8 tone into the QC-II "Tone A" position and the 553.9 tone into the QC-II "Tone B" position. I then programmed the 368.5 tone into the "Tone C" position and the 330.5 tone into the "Tone D" position. The fire dept. (A/B tones) work fine, but the radio does not alert or open the channel when the EMS is paged. Could anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong?? I know the PL tones are corrects on the receive squelch because everything works fine for the fire paging, I just can't get the EMS paging to work.

On the channel config screen, ( F4-F4), right hand side, do you have the QCII type set to "Dual Call" ? If set to " Individual" you will only get A-B tones.

yes i have set it to Dual Call, but i still only get the one page to work, its killing me becuz it doenst make sense, everything appears that it should work! please help anyone!

yes i have checked the tones and they are correct....when i am in the qc-ii programming screen and i push F1 for help, it says there is a field that you have to change to activate individual and group tones, but the field doesnt show up on the screens.....am i programming the tones correctly.....tones A and B would be for one page, and tones C and D would be for the other pager, right??? also what does the Long Tone B time setting do? I dont really understand it

"Long tone B" is a setting for group calls using an A-B format. I'm not where my stuff is, but if you're seeing an option for "Long Tone B," I don't think you have selected effectively the A-B, C-D format option.
