CT250 program problem
I read a CT-250, edited the code plug, and tried to write to radio. I got this message: "Failed to convert data base into codeplug image." Is this a CPS error or a radio error? Everything has worked in the past, but this is a different radio.

Re: CT250 program problem
Possibly you need to update the CPS? Occassionally some earlier versions of CPS can read a later radio fine, but cannot write back to it. The EX series using Waris CPS 6.00.00 comes to mind as an example. What version of CT series CPS do you have?

Re: CT250 program problem
that's a cps error, not radio so try installing it on a different machine. there might be one version of that cps newer but yours isn't old, it's just not made anymore. it read the radio so it should write. another possibility is that the firmware in the radio is too old for something you turned on while editing the codeplug and the radio won't accept it. try reading the radio and then writing the un-altered codeplug right back to it?

Re: CT250 program problem
I did try just a read and then a write back and got the same error. I am using XP, but other CT250's have programmed good.
