XTS 1500 Password

Post by nysmedic226 »

Hello All.

I have just been given the task of maintaining our fire dept radios. The company that originally set up our portables has since gone out of business, thus my new assignment.
My difficulty is that they programmed all the portables with passwords and the dept did not get that information from the company when they made there purchases. I do not have all the programming information to download a new codeplug. This is why I wanted to do and upload so we could update are records and keep the infor on file for future. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Chris

have you tried to read absolutely every radio in case they missed one? are all the radios the same? is it a simplex, repeater, or trunked system? there are a few ways to go about this, you may only need to bypass one then clone or copy to the rest? other systems will need some alterations.

All radios are repeater enabled and simplex, and no trunking. I have not tried all radios yet.

well that's where i'd start, try and see if they missed one. if not then you can see about getting someone on here to crack one of them and see if the password is the same on all or at least you have the codeplug from one.

Read my first post in this thread:

http://batboard.batlabs.com/viewtopic.p ... sword+hack

It details how to figure out what the password is for just about any CPS.
