CA3140E

Post by Jonathan KC8RYW »

The CA3140E is NLA at Mouser.

It subs to NTE7144.

The NTE7144 datasheet says it subs to the 741.

???

Which opamp do I use for my RIB? I don't need it now, but I'm putting in a Mouser order, so why not pick up a few spares incase I blow up an Opamp with a homebrew cable.

Jameco Electronics in California.....$.51 each(qty 1-9) for CA3140E, they also have an ROHS version available if it's what you want. The non-ROHS Jameco p/n is 12204.

no minimum order ($5 added for processing on non-web orders)

They are 15 minutes up the road from me, depending on traffic.

Futurlec has actual CA3140Es in stock, along with every other component used in the actual RLN4008 RIB. Only downside is, they ship from Thailand and it takes over 2 weeks for stuff to get here unless you pay extra $$ for expedited shipping.
