just check the box in the cps to auto-update the clock everytime you write to the radio

Where is this box located, I went thru every screen & found no such box.
I am using R06.01.00.

you need newer cps, i don't think it was an option until 6.05 or 6.07

You can also set it through the radio's menu, you have to have the Utilities Menu enabled and Clock enabled under Utilities Sub-Menu.
