Test frequencies in Spectra software

Post by RADIOMAN2002 »

I have looked in the MOFLAGS and Bit Banging areas, and I havn't found where the tune up frequencies are located. Does any body have an idea where in the MLM addresses they might be located?

If you find out how to do this please let us all know. I'm tired of my
GTX alignment setup on 900 mHz that defaults to a pretty useless frequency
of 895 mHz instead of the 902 or 927 channels that I use.

Not that the Spectra RSS is the same as the GTX but I'd bet the same
setup/principle is employed for the default test channel.

There's a good chance that they're in the firmware, and you'd have to hack the EPROMs.

Jack,

That's sort of what I figured would have to be done. Ugh.

Thats what I figured too. For some strange reason my VHF radio is testing on 201 mhz and displaying 400 mhz frequencies. Granted this is a reflashed radio from standard VHF to type II trunking.

Well I guess today will be the only time I have to look at this for a while. I have found M copyright statement, so I do know where the beginning of the EE-prom is. Also my original software is gone, so i have to look at each address individually unlike my original that let you look at whole pages at a time. This is going to take some time. Too bad it doesn't have a hex dump.
