CM300 fixed audio on pin 11 of accessory connector squelched

Post by Jim202 »

Question for the board, is the fixed audio out on pin 11 of the accessory connector squelched or does it stay active with
white noise when no carrier is present? Looking for a squelched, fixed level RX audio source from the CM300 and have no radio to test this on.

In using an old Maxtrac, this pin 11 audio is not squelched and gives white noise with no signal.

And the Maxtrac can be set for either with a jumper on the controller board...JU551, I believe?
No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.

Thanks WT, that fixed my problem. Didn't have a manual available to go looking at.
