help with pr400 asap

im wanting duplicate channels. one with pre mdc and one with post mdc. but the guy who is programming it for me said the software wont allow duplicate channels. is i possible?

Yes you can create duplicate channels. Just make 2 MDC systems, 1 pre and the other post. Then assign them to the channels. I checked this on the shop CPS R05.07 and it worked fine.

I have set up a few pr400 radios with the same tx/rx/pl but the software will not allow the same name for the channel. In my case, I just added an extra space in the name or before the first character and it took it as a different channel name.
