ht1250 error message

Post by dispatcher7586 »

Recently I programmed a ht1250. For the first time in two years it gave me an error message. Something like "ES EMMPROR"

I programmed it first, then reprogramed it again for the second time. On the second time I acidentally shut the radio off and turned it back on while It was programming. It didnt brick. So I reprogrammed it a third time and it flashed that error message and programmed it anyways with out a problem. The radio works, but I was wondering why it flashed an error message. It never gave me a problem before

Firmware: 1.01
Software: 6.04

Could it have been programmed with a higher version software, but why would it work with a lower version software???
Why didnt it brick when I shut it off while it had "program" on the screen??? (Im happy it didnt ;)

update your firmware, version 1 that you have listed is around 10 years old. then you won't have that problem again.
