Help with setting up radios

Post by Max »

I have a Raduis and a GM300 with a repeater cable,i am having a hard time trying figure out how to program the radios. If for example i want to TX on 462.000 and RX on 467.000 ,how would i program each radio in the TX and RX fields, for the TX radio and the RX radio.I have a Duplexer and the radios are set up properly for the repeater cable.

Thanks in advance for any help.

first thing is if you can program the fields. you will be programing the repeater opposite of what you will program your mobiles. program both radios the same. rx 467.000 you can add a pl or a dpl if you want and then tx of 462.000 also a pl or a dpl .I think you are on the right track . this should take care of the programing now all that matters is the way you hook up the cable. if it is just a generic rep cable you probably will have trouble with the audio. if you have this problem there is a cable you buy from mre on ebay with a volume control on it that will clean up your audio. hope this helps..
