smatworks 800 mhz w/ BDA system

Post by centronic »

There is way how to connect to BDA in series?, without increasing noise form (base noise). I have tried almost everything triaing to get it works right, but not success. When I use both BDA the communication is scratching and has high background noise and sometimes breaking off. The idea of using 2 BDAs in series was from KAVAL the company who sold the BDAs. When I use ony one BDA the communoication is clear and has not back ground noise. Had any body tried something like this before.

This may be a silly question but why are you trying to put two BDA's back to back? What, exactly, are you trying to accomplish?

This project was designed by Motorola engenier dept. and they said that the area to cover (a gambling casino) was too big and requiere a lot of internal antenna to cover every spot, and they designed that way to prevent the power out from the BDA to drop to the noise level when this will operate to a maximun capacity (7 channels smartworks system). Were they wrong in the design?
