removing housing pr-400

im wanting to re-case my pr400. what are the steps and whats need to disassemble it? I know th knobs and ring nuts and the antenna comes off. but from there im lost. :o

The PR400 is a little tight during disassembly but it's really not that big of a deal as long as you don't try to force anything.

Once you remove the volume and channel knobs it's just as simple as taking a small screwdriver (there is a removal tool but I prefer the screwdriver pn 6686533Z01) to the bottom of the chasis and pry up the tanapa from the cover. From there you pull (carefully) the cover flex (if display model) out of the board and continue to pull up on the tanapa. Sooner or later you'll run have to pull the speaker and mic jacks out of the board, at that point you'll be done.

ok cool. sounds pretty straight forward. is the felt reuseable or should I ge a new piece. Ive not ordered my parts yet so if i need the felt nows the time to order it. Im just replacing the front cover with the sreen. keypad and everything else will be re-used. Thanks for the advice
