Simulcast With One Mic

Post by JD »

Is it possible on Motorola CDM's, to use one mic to transmit on a VHF and a UHF radio at the same time ??
This is for a customer setup that is using a cross band repeater, but at the base they want the dispatch center (UHF) to here when they talk to the emergency trucks (VHF).

Thanks.

I have this same setup using GM300's. I wired one mic through the back accessory connector. pin 7 ground, pin 2 mic audio, pin 3 mic PTT. Wire both radios's accessory connectors the same way and tie them together. Works well for me!
