Dumb question about Spectras

Post by mcx1000 »

This is probably a dumb question, but I believe the only stupid is the one you don't ask.
I am about to buy a high power trunk mount UHF Spectra and I have the RSS for low/mid power Spectra radios, is it the same for the high power units?

Thanks in advance.

Yes it is the same software, however you do need a different cable to connect the radio to the RIB.

Be sure to check the frequency range of the radio you are looking at; the range of high power units is narrower than that of mid-powers.

Also watch out for the EXFed radios 403-433!
