ATS Systems Saber R... No Scan?

I have a Systems Saber IR 440-470 that I am working on programming. It reads fine in Systems Saber RSS, but there is no scan option under any of the conventional personalities. When I enter the scan lists menu, the software tells me that "Scan requires a Systems Saber Radio, this is an ATS radio".

The info on the radio tag is as follows:

So the question is... if I program this as a Systems Saber... will it scan or will scan not work at all? I don't absolutely need scan as this radio was bought for a purpose, but it would be icing on the cake.

It probably been upgraded since most ATS were 403-433. I dont know if there were 440-470 ATS ever made. I would save a copy of the codeplug and try building a new one as a systems and see what happens
