CDM Mobiles and Zetron ZR320 Controller

Post by Mikey »

I have got a GR300 Repeater that has 2 GM300 Radio's and a Zetron ZR320 Selective Calling Interconnect in it as a controller. I'm getting ready to Upgrade the Radio's with CDM750's, will this Zetron Controller work with the CDM Series Mobiles without and Problems???

Thanks

I have been out of the Moto business for about 4 years, so my "help" may not help. I can tell you how to find out, but only if you have the RSS for the GMs, and the CPS for the CDMs. And if my memory serves me , the plugs on each radio is physically the same. In each of the programming softwares, there will be a place where the pinouts of that connector is defined. There is where you will find the answer. If they can be configured the same, it should work Good luck.
Einstein, when describing radio said "Wire telegraph is like a very long cat. You pull his tail in NY and he meows in LA. And radio works the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat."
