I just bought a Saber I that came with a "may or my not work" battery, a used Motorola NTN4595C. It had what appears to have been a small charge on it when it arrived, but it is now depleted. On my 6-bank charger, it gives me a flashing red light. On an Impress charger, it gives the flashing yellow signal.
I also bought a new "Anderson ADSM-4592H" 2700mAh, Ni-MH. (I don't have the money to buy a new Moto battery.) It seemed to have some issues, but it now appears to be working on the Impress charger, however its giving me a solid yellow on the 6-bank.
None of my chargers came with any manual, and I've had no luck finding info online. Can you guys help me understand what they are trying to tell me?

Re: Saber Battery/Charger Help
The first questionable battery is shot... Flashing red in the bank charger or yellow on the impres is a defective battery. If the second one charges in the impres then is yellow in the bank charger it may be showing overheated

Re: Saber Battery/Charger Help
I just let them sit in the charger overnight and it seems to have reset something; it charged both batteries successfully. I'll see what happens when I try to charge them again...

Re: Saber Battery/Charger Help
I like my Impress chargers V3.4, but I have discovered this...If one has a questionable Saber or Xts battery try a regular charger first.
It seem the Impress series just do a quick analyzation of the battery and give either a never ending flashing yellow or red.
I have had batteries that charged just fine in the old style non-smart chargers that were supposedly bad and the impresses would not charge them.
Just my 2 cents...

I had a battery that stopped charging in the impres charger( flashing error), but worked just fine in the old saber rapid charger. I only charge it in my presence to be sure it don't go up in smoke, but over a year later and it's still chugging right along.

Re: Saber Battery/Charger Help
Thanks for the info! The new Anderson battery is currently 100%. I think I'm going to run down the old battery again, and see if my charger will work again. Right now, it only shows either flashing red, or solid yellow.
