HT1250 priority beep?
Can the HT1250 have a priority beep when scan stops on priority channel? If so, where is it in programming?

Radio Configuration->Scan->then check the box "Priority Scan Alert". Then when scan stops on a Priority 1 or a priority 2 channel you'll get a beep alert.

Yup that is where it is, but a word of warning. If you get semi bad reception where you are at. The beep will become very annoying. I am about 20 min away from one of my FDs, and I decided I wanted the beep on my HT1000, it worked fine until I was near where my house was, shopping, and reception was horribal to be nice. Well I am walking around the store and it picks up a little traffic, not enough for me to understand it as it was static, but the radio is like beep, beep beep beep........beep...beep beep beep beep. Everytime the reception went in and out.
I even had it set for scan delay where it will hold the channel for 5 seconds I think, but it was not acting like it was, but of course I do not think it does it if you are on your priority channel, as it will take priority anyway, and really does not need to be locked for an amount of time before re scanning.
First thing I did when I got home was turn off the beep.
