HT1250 out of band

Hi all, I finally found a M dealer that can program my HT1250, now the question is can it be programmed out of band? It is a H25SDF9AA5 model number, 450-527 MHz split. I would like to program the 446 channels into it at least. From the Info page on batlabs it gives a hint only if the CPS has a GP300 file which it does not in this case. Does anyone have experience in programming this one out-of-band? Any help will be appreciated.

you can't, you need a radio with an R splid of 403-470

Actually there is a way to do it, but I'm not privy to the details. Have seen an S split work on 440 though.

Its doable, depending on if you need frequencies above 470mhz ... if you do then the method I know won't work. If you don't, then all you simply need to do is force a 403-470mhz codeplug in the radio...using the inoffical homemade labtool.

I don't need to go above 470....thanks...I will keep you posted if it works..

So it works this way, I have some problems with output power and sensitivity but I think they are due to the new codeplug I pushed in. Does anyone can help me with a codeplug for a HT1250, 6 front buttons, 403-470 split? Thanks in advance.

Well you are going to have tuning issues using a codeplug that wasn't put in the radio at the factory, and I can speak from personal experience in that tuning the Pro Series is &*@^# @&*!^#(4&@

It is the only way I found so far, having in mind that I am stuck with the radio anyway and the only use I would have for it is the ham band, I would say it is worth while giving it a try.
