Does anyone know how to interface these two together, I have no documentation on these. We're looking to put together a GMRS repeater on the cheap....(unless someone has an MSF 5000 they want to give away.....
any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Desktrac and I20r repeater controller
DeskTrac repeater has it's own "controller".
DeskTrac repeater is not type certificated by the FCC for use as a repeater on GMRS. The transmitter does not meet the frequency stability specification and the TX audio filtering specification. You could swap out the Transmitter for a GM300 which does meet specs.

Re: Desktrac and I20r repeater controller
The FCC approval sticker is present so we'll use it. Again I'm looking for info on how to interface these two together, facts about how to accomplish this are helpful, anything else can just be kept to yourself...
Desktrac controller only provides a time out timer, no CW ID, DTMF control or anything else, hence the need for the I20r

The CW ID and or DTMF is NOT required for a GMRS repeater.KG4FOY wrote: Desktrac controller only provides a time out timer, no CW ID, DTMF control or anything else, hence the need for the I20r

Again I'm not looking for opinions, just pinouts, thanks.
