Post by Jay G. »

HELP!

I was given a L1473A remote. I want to hook it up to my Maxtrac base station.

Is it any different wiring to hook it up as a remote to my GR1225 repeater?? I am not sure which way i will do it.

terminals in the remote are:
Mic Hi
Mic Lo
PTT
Monitor
RX HI
RX Lo
DC
Ground

and 2 marked 12vac

HELP!!!!

Thanks!

L1473A Local Remote to GM300

You just need to match the terminals up with the corresponding pins on the back of the GM300:

Mic Hi --> pin 2 on Radio
Mic Lo --> pin 7 on Radio
Rx Hi --> pin 11 on Radio
Rx Lo --> pin 7 on Radio
PTT --> pin 3 on Radio
MON --> pin 14 on Radio

If you have the wall transformer for it, you connect it to the AC terminals.
If you do not, you can get power from the radio and connect it to DC+/GND.
