Yeah, yeah, I know, its three grand. But it's his deal, if he wants to sell them as a lot, it's his choice. He's not holding a gun to everyone's head to bid. A person couldn't buy them at that price and resell them, and not many end-users would have much use for the radios as-is. It looks like he's just trying to get out of them what he paid for them. I do doubt that he is successful however. Perhaps he doesn't realize that once they are out of the box, they are used.
Just trying to present a different point of view.

I can understand the point of view you're presenting Tony, as I thought of that as well, but IMO, common sense would be to look at what the going rate is for a Maxtrac of that nature before presenting an auction. There are other units out there that can be obtained for less than 200 bucks a radio. No way I would bid on them.

- What radios do you own?: Progreso soup can with CRT
The free marketplace has a way of making things come out even. There's a guy over on eBay who continually advertises a plain ol' Saber I with a starting price of $249, but he NEVER GETS ANY BIDS!!! I sent him a polite note asking him what was so special about his radio, since I could buy such units all day in my area for $125, and he wrote back very nicely and said that in HIS area the going price for a Saber I is well over $250. That was a couple of months ago and he's STILL not getting bids.
