Motorola inline power monitor?

Post by Twisted_Pear »

My understanding that this device below is for monitoring power inline with normal operation of the transmitter. It has no part number only band and power rating. There are three contacts on one side.

Does anyone know how to use it?

This is an 'element' for the Motorola RF wattmeter with interchangeable elements.

There is also an accessory for the 2001 service monitors that uses those elements to allow you to read the power directly on the instrument rather than carrying a stand-alone wattmeter.

If those contacts are the smooth little dot kind its for a model S1350 portable watt meter. If they are the solder post kind then its probably for the rack mount model(dont know the model #).

Good to know. Thanks.

Sounds like it's not useful with newer technology. Is the S1350 still sold?

It has not been manufactured in a long time - but they are still desireable used in good condition and
the resale value on ebay has rased some eyebrows lately.
