MTS bad display SRN??

Post by Jason »

Can anyone tell me if the MTS/JEDI display FSB that was extended is still valid?

I ran across a few that should have been sent for warranty long ago, but weren't on the radar.

If so, whats the FSB/SRN#??

Tks

You are looking for FSB10051A which says expiration date is 21-Dec-2008.

What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

great. I have to go show this to my MSS, they claim the SRN is no longer in effect. I have two MTS2000's with dead pixel displays.

Only hope the Mexidepot doesn't lose them...

No need to go through an MSS, call 1.800.227.6772 and request a call tag to ship the radios to the depot at no cost. They should email it to you. Also, you will have to enclose their service center repair form and specifiy that it a factory service bulletin repair. I have the form which is in the Excel format if you need it.
